Pre-Orders for iPhone 8 & iPhone 8 Plus in India to begin from September 22
The wait is finally over! If you want your hands on the smartphones – iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, which were announced recently, you can make your plans for pre-ordering them now. Redington India, Apple’s distribution partner, declared on Wednesday that pre-orders for the iPhone and iPhone 8 Plus will commence from September 22 in India.
The pre-orders, Redington India also mentioned that customers can make pre-orders from any of it’s 3,000 stores present across the country. The sale of iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will begin from September 29 in India, Apple said on Tuesday.
Price and Variants
The models of iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will come in two storage variants – 64GB and 256GB. The iPhone 8 with 64GB storage will cost Rs. 64,000, while the iPhone 8 with 256GB storage will cost Rs. 77,000. The iPhone 8 Plus with 64GB storage will cost Rs. 73,000, while the iPhone 8 Plus with 256GB storage is going to cost Rs. 86,000.
Wide range of attractive features
Both the new models of iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus come with a wide range of attractive features, which include Retina HD displays, a new aluminium and glass design and A11 Bionic SoC. These features were not present in the earlier generation iPhone models.
Some of the other features of the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus models include a duo of 12MP shooter at the rear which gives you way more sharper images coupled with improved texture and clarity, the company claimed.
Also the wireless inductive charging that come with the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus offer will let you charge your device without any hassle of reaching out to the wall charger and plugging in your phone. Users will have to purchase Qi charging mats separately from Mophie and Belkin from the company’s stores and website those who are interested in making use of the wireless charging.
Key specifications of the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus
Both the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus feature a Retina HD display with True Tone feature that helps to adjust the white balance so that it matches the surrounding light to give you a paper-like natural viewing experience. The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus come with a a 4.7-inch and a 5.5-inch screen respectively. Speaking of the camera, the rear panel of the iPhone 8 Plus features a dual-camera setup. The cameras include a combination of f/1.8 aperture and 12MP wide angle lens and f/2.8 aperture and 12MP telephoto lens with OIS, quad-LED True Tone flash. The iPhone 8 come with a single 12MP sensor at the rear.
