Moto C vs Redmi 4A – A tough competition
Motorola’s budget phone Moto C is going to face a tough competition from Xiaomi’s Redmi 4A on its launch. Let’s find out why.
Processor and Memory
Moto C is equipped with a 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737M processor whereas Redmi 4A has a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor which means around 27% faster processing than Moto C. Moto C is offering 1GB of RAM. Redmi 4A has 2GB which helps it run more applications at the same time. Redmi 4A also supports an expandable storage up to 128GB as compared to Moto C’s 32GB.
Both the smartphones come with a 5 inch display. But Redmi 4A has a resolution of 720×1280 pixels which is 124% more than Moto C’s 480×854 pixels resulting in a sharper screen.
Moto C comes with a 5MP shooter at the rear and 2MP at the front. Redmi 4A boasts a 13MP rear camera which is around 160% more mega pixels than Moto C along with a 5MP front camera.
Moto C is powered by a 2350mAh battery(removable) whereas Redmi 4A comes with a 3120mAh battery which is around 32% more powerful than that of Moto C.
Design and Weight
Redmi 4A is around 5% slimmer and 14% lighter than Moto C, which makes it easier to carry around.
Xiaomi Redmi 4A is clearly way ahead in the race and offers the best value for money.
