It’s been quite a while since LG launched the G6 flagship smartphone. Now the countdown has begun for LG’s next premium smartphone – LG V30, the first smartphone of LG to have a curved display. Let’s have a quick look at some of its features.

The LG V30 comes with wireless charging technology, which was missing in the previous models. While it’s earlier model, LG V20, has a metal back panel, the LG V30 flaunts a glass back panel. It has retained the fingerprint sensor and the dual rear camera. It could very well be LG’s first smartphone to feature dual selfie cameras.

The screen-to-body ratio has also been increased in LG V30 than it was in LG V20.

Rumors are that the LG V30 might come with a dual screen which means there could be a secondary display too.

  • The LG V30 comes with a unique “FullVision” display along with a 6.2-inch screen having a screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The 474 pixels per inch provides you a sensational viewing experience. Also the Corning Gorilla Glass v5 provides effective scratch protection.

  • The LG V30 comes with 13MP (f/1.8, phase detection AF) + 13MP (f/2.4, no AF), dual-LED flash shooter at the rear and 8MP front camera with an image resolution of 4128 x 3096 pixels. Other camera features include Face detection, Touch to focus and Digital zoom. It also offers High Dynamic Range, Continuous Shooting mode, and Optical Image Stabilization.

Performance

  • The LG V30 comes with a powerful octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 MSM8998 chipset which has been clocked at 2.45 GHz, along with Adreno 540 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The LG V30, which runs on Android v7.1 (Nougat), is definitely going to provide you a superb software experience. Also, it has 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB via microSD cards.

Battery

  • The LG V30 is powered by a 3500 mAh Li-ion battery. It also offers quick charging feature.
