Launched : HP ZBook X2 Detachable Tablet With 4K Display
HP has launched the world’s first detachable workstation – ZBook x2 tablet. The company has been attempting to target designers with it’s brand-new detachable device which can support digital pen. Priced at Rs. 1,14,000, it will be up for sale from December.
The HP ZBook x2 is going to face tough competition from Microsoft’s Surface Book and Surface Pro. It also features an active cooling system having dual-fan. It comes with a a detachable backlit keyboard and a built-in kickstand. The keyboard can be connected to the HP ZBook x2 with the help of Bluetooth. It can also be used without being connected to the tablet. It has 18 Adobe app shortcuts along HP Quick Keys as well. The HP ZBook Dock can get the tablet docked to the display via Thunderbolt 32. The integrated 160-degree stand can be utilized by users with it’s laptop mode and full-sized keyboard. HP says that The Wacom EMR pen is very fast to respond with nearly zero latency. The pen doesn’t require charging and can also detect 4,096 levels of pressure, HP says.
HP ZBook x2 features a screen resolution of 3840×2160 pixels along with 14-inch anti-glare LED-backlit touch display. It will be available in solid state drive options of 128GB, 256GB, 512MB, and 1TB variants. It also features NVIDIA Quadro graphics option.
Performance and Storage
HP ZBook x2 encases a powerful quad-core Intel Core i5 or i7 processors with up to 4.2GHz and will run Windows 10 Pro. The ZBook x2 is having 32GB RAM which is twice the memory capacity as compared to other detachable PC’s.
The HP ZBook x2 has a battery life of up to 10 hours along with fast charging feature which can charge the device upto 50 percent in a mere 30 minutes.
Some of the other exciting features of the tablet include a 720p front camera, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a fingerprint scanner and a military standard MIL-STD 810G certification.
