How to Check Jio Phone Booking Status – Online and Offline
After the Jio Phone booking started on 24th August, the booking remained suspended for about a day, which left lots of buyers totally clueless. However, they can still book the phone when the booking process resumes. Though there is no such news from the company regarding when the booking process will resume. Also, those who have booked the phone on 24th and 25th August, there is no confirmation about when will they get it. As of now it is only known that the delivery of the booked handsets will occur in September. The customers have two options now for checking the status of their Jio Phone booking. This will help them figure out the expected date of the delivery of their handset.
Steps for checking Jio Phone booking status online
For checking the status of your Jio Phone booking status online, you have to tap the Manage Booking option inside the MyJio app. After that you have to provide your registered contact number and OTP. The My Vouchers page will be displayed on the screen. The Status field is blank at present but it should show the delivery date once deliveries commence along with the store from which you can pick up your phone.
There is also an option to transfer the Jio Phone booking in the Manage Booking section of the the MyJio app.
Steps for checking Jio Phone booking status offline
After booking your Jio Phone, an SMS was sent to your registered phone number with the transaction ID and the units registered against that number. A phone number will be mentioned below that, 18008908900. You can dial up this number from your registered phone number if you wish to check the delivery date or booking status and follow the instructions on the IVR.
At present the IVR says that an SMS wil be sent to your registered phone number with the voucher details. After that you will receive an SMS that neither mentions the delivery date nor the store details. However, all these details will be available as the release date nears.
